1. About BGM Medical
BGM Medical is a private healthcare practice based in Norwich, Norfolk. Our clinicians are registered with the General Medical Council (GMC). We provide private, fee paying healthcare services including but not limited to GP consultations, ADHD assessments, weight management, minor surgery, and neurodiversity coaching.
By using our website or services, you agree to these terms.
2. Our services are private healthcare
BGM Medical is a private healthcare provider and is not part of the NHS. Our services are fee paying. We do not provide NHS funded care. If you need NHS care, please contact your registered NHS GP or call 111.
Nothing on this website constitutes medical advice. Always consult a qualified clinician for medical decisions.
3. Appointment requests
Submitting an appointment request via our website does not constitute a confirmed booking. We will contact you within one working day to confirm availability and appointment details. Appointments are only confirmed once you have received written or verbal confirmation from us.
We reserve the right to decline appointment requests at our discretion, for example where we consider a request to fall outside our clinical scope.
4. Fees and payment
All fees are stated on our Services & Prices page. Prices are subject to change. You will be quoted a price before your appointment is confirmed.
An out of hours surcharge applies to appointments conducted outside Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm. You will be informed of any surcharge before confirming your appointment.
Payment terms will be agreed at the time of booking. We do not offer free consultations.
5. Cancellations
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please give us as much notice as possible by calling 01603 555493 or emailing contact@bgm-medical.com. Our cancellation and refund policy will be provided at the time of booking confirmation.
6. Prescriptions
Our GPs may issue private prescriptions where clinically appropriate. Private prescriptions are not free. Costs vary depending on the medication and pharmacy. We do not prescribe certain controlled substances.
We comply with GMC prescribing guidance at all times.
7. Referrals
We can provide private referral letters to NHS or private specialists. Referrals are not a guarantee of treatment by the referred provider. Any costs associated with specialist care are separate from our fees.
8. Website use
You may use our website for lawful personal purposes only. You must not misuse our website (e.g. by attempting to gain unauthorised access, introducing malicious code, or using it in a way that could harm others).
We make reasonable efforts to keep the website accurate and up to date but do not warrant that it is free from errors or will always be available.
9. Intellectual property
All content on bgmhealth.co.uk, including text, images, and design, is owned by BGM Medical or used under licence. You may not reproduce or distribute content without our written permission.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BGM Medical will not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of our website or services, except where caused by our negligence or breach of duty of care.
Our liability for any claim related to our healthcare services is subject to our professional indemnity insurance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
