Fully managed for employers

We bring the clinic to your team

BGM Medical provides workplace winter health clinics for employers who want to make flu vaccination simple, safe and easy for staff to access.

Registered doctors and nurses attend as many sites as required. We manage the vaccines, equipment, clinical process, emergency readiness and staff communication.

Staff can usually attend during the working day without taking time off, while your team remains focused on running the workplace.

Flu vaccination does not prevent every infection, and vaccine effectiveness varies by season. The evidence still supports workplace vaccination as a practical way to reduce influenza like illness, doctor visits and lost workdays when uptake is strong.

Pricing

Priced around your sites, staff numbers and vaccine needs

Pricing depends on the number of staff, the number of workplace sites, travel, clinic duration, staffing requirements and whether the programme includes flu vaccination only or flu with COVID vaccination where available.

We work to keep the vaccine cost competitive

Our partner pharmacies liaise directly with wholesalers to secure the best vaccine price available. We always pass those savings on to the customer. You get a clear proposal before anything is booked.

Clear pricing based on staff numbers and site requirements
No hidden expectation for staff to pay upfront and claim back
Clinic planning included, rather than pushed onto HR
Transparent advice if a different route would be better for your organisation
Alternatives

Spend less. Reach more of your team.

Vouchers and reimbursement look cheap on paper. In practice they add admin, lower uptake and often cost the same or more.

Vouchers or reimbursement

  • Retail vaccine prices
  • HR distributes vouchers or processes claims
  • Staff find time to book and attend elsewhere
  • Uptake is typically lower

Managed on site clinic

  • Wholesale vaccine prices, with savings passed on
  • One agreed quote. We handle the admin.
  • The clinic comes to your staff, on work time
  • Higher uptake, so more of your team is protected

Similar or lower total cost. Better results.

Doing nothing costs nothing up front, but leaves winter sickness to chance.

Why uptake matters. Vaccination protects the people who receive it. Higher uptake also reduces the chance of flu spreading through a team, often called herd immunity. If only a handful of staff use a voucher, you pay for a scheme that protects very few. This is a genuine case where doing it properly costs less and works better. No gimmicks needed.

Evidence for indirect protection varies by setting. See the systematic review and the Community Guide workplace recommendation.

Before paying privately

Some staff qualify through the NHS

In England for 2026 to 2027, free NHS flu vaccination includes people aged 65 or over, adults aged 18 to 64 with qualifying long term health conditions, pregnant women, care home residents, main carers, people living with someone who has a weakened immune system, people experiencing homelessness, and eligible frontline health and social care workers. Children have separate eligibility.

Criteria and arrangements can differ elsewhere in the UK. Check the current NHS flu vaccine guidance before deciding which employees need private provision.

Common questions

Workplace winter health clinic FAQs

01

Can you provide both flu and COVID vaccines at work?

We can provide workplace flu vaccination and can discuss COVID vaccination where it is clinically appropriate, available and aligned with current supply, eligibility and regulatory arrangements.

02

Can you cover more than one workplace site?

Yes. Pricing and planning are based on the number of sites, staff numbers, room availability, clinic duration and any travel required.

03

Do staff need time off work?

Usually no. The clinic is designed so staff can attend briefly during the working day, receive their vaccination and return to work quickly.

04

How is pricing calculated?

Pricing is based on staff numbers, vaccine type, the number of sites, travel, staffing and clinic time. Our partner pharmacies liaise directly with wholesalers to secure the best vaccine price available, and we pass those savings on to the customer.

05

Are workplace winter health clinics tax exempt?

From April 2026, workplace flu vaccination programmes are tax exempt. This can make an on site winter health clinic a more attractive employee health benefit for employers planning ahead.

06

Why does employee uptake matter?

Vaccination can provide direct protection to the person vaccinated. Higher uptake may also reduce opportunities for influenza to spread and provide some indirect protection, although evidence for a workplace herd effect is limited and varies by setting. Low participation therefore limits the reach and programme level value of any employer scheme.

07

Who can get a free NHS flu vaccine?

In England for 2026 to 2027, free NHS flu vaccination includes people aged 65 or over, adults aged 18 to 64 with qualifying long-term health conditions, pregnant women, care home residents, main carers, people living with someone who has a weakened immune system, people experiencing homelessness, and eligible frontline health and social care workers. Children have separate eligibility. NHS criteria and arrangements can differ elsewhere in the UK.
